Stitching Circle (previously called the “Knitting Group”)Postponed Until Further Notice.

We welcome all stitchers: knitters, crocheters, embroidery or hand sewing!  Bring your projects, get and share advice & tips, or join in the group project. We meet once a month, usually on the third Sunday of the month.  Please check our newsletter for our next meetup date & time! Previously, our group has donated blanket squares to Warm Up America and hats & scarves to our local homeless.  In 2019, we made and collected over 60 blankets and other items for our local animal rescue groups in time for winter: Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals, Midland Humane Coalition, and MASA – Midland Animal Shelter Adoptables.  These blankets included knit, crocheted, sewn, no-sew fleece, and second-hand blankets.  Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us gather these items for our local adoptable animals!

Tree of Life Open Circle

The modern Pagan movement provides a means for people to connect with the daily, monthly, and yearly cycles that continue to affect us physically and emotionally. Through classes and rituals, the Tree of Life Open Circle explores this connection in an ongoing effort to foster growth and community for kindred spirits of the earth.

As with all our rituals and classes, all are welcome. Everyone is encouraged to participate, but you may simply observe as well. Blessed Be.

For updates and further information about Tree of Life, please check out their Facebook page here  or in the monthly UUMidland newsletter.
